The Ethiopia Field Station (EFS) is a research center which supports graduate students and researchers who conduct their research projects in northeast Africa. The seminars, International Workshops and Study Tours are co-organized with the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology (SOSA) at Addis Ababa University, Institute of Ethiopia and Southomo Research Center. The EFS is endeavoring to support research based on area studies.
