Main Research: Initiative 2 "Study on nature-inspired technologies and institutions"
Project Title: Impact of traditional shifting cultivation and taungya reforestation on forest ecosystem and sustainable forest use.

Research Theme:
 

  1. Reconstruction of land use history by using satellite images.
  2. Effect of land use history on recovery of fallow vegetation.
  3. Long-term changes in soil and vegetation of teak plantations.
